*Daniel H. Winter is a native of Kansas. He nearly lost his life in the huge F-5 Joplin, Missouri Tornado on May 22, 2011. He was in his home at 2121 S. Kentucky Avenue and didn’t realize the extent of his injuries for several days when a head scan revealed a serious concussion at which time he was hospitalized in Kansas City for several days. He decided to open Cake 4 Cake Bakery as he desired to remain in Joplin. He owned bakeries in the Kansas City area and in Los Angeles for 30 years prior to his move to Joplin. His specialty is “beautiful moist cakes made from scratch!” He creates the finest cakes for every occasion! Dan said: “Christ, Faith, Friends, are what has saved and sustained me!
